We’re on the lookout for an Events Officer for an esteemed university in the Ipswich area. This opportunity will suit someone looking for part-time (3 days per week), temporary work until the end of July 2025. Strong local knowledge of the Suffolk area would be ideal, and proven experience in leading/planning events will be needed.

As Events Officer, you will be responsible for the ongoing enhancement of the organisation’s profile and reputation, through the development and delivery of key events. The ability to think flexibly and creatively is important, as is a reflective attitude where you can monitor the success and impact of events.

As directed by your manager, you will plan, manage, promote, and develop key flagship recruitment events such as open days, applicant visit days, interview days, National Apprenticeship Week events, employer events, careers talk for schools as part of the Marketing and Events action plan.
